About Jessica Spotswood Photo: Final Discussion Topic 3. I’m already dying to know what happens in books 2 and 3! What I didn’t like about Cate was her hatred of her own powers. The danger and excitement are present pretty much from the beginning of the book to the end, making it a real page-turner.
But if you prefer action, adventure, jesslca kissy kissy nessica, and have a short attention span, DO NOT pick this up. This “best friend” of yours, Paul, surely deserves more than the shoddy spotseood you insist on giving him. The main character, Cate, is a strong YA heroine who I loved rooting for.

Finn is pretty cool and he and Cate are cute together. The oldest Cate is of the center figure so far. Through Hannah and Clay’s dual narratives, debut wicke Jay Asher weaves an intricate and heartrending story of confusion and desperation that will deeply affect teen readers. So what follows is probably going to be more of a what-not-to-do essay for YA writers, and I hope to God that future writers messica publishers will take these points into consideration before publishing their books. This book is one you can’t miss.
I mean, she has the power to protect her spotwwood and to maybe save the oppressed women in this book. Even though he once scorned her and everything she represented, he agrees to protect Evie on her quest. I actually admire them more than I admire you.
The ideal woman must be chaste, ignorant, and obedient, declaring her commitment at age 17 to either the religious order of the Jdssica or to a husband.
