As the story goes we see how Dillon treats her, and how Gavin treats her. Ta-ta for now dumbfuck Dillon The only character who I liked was Dillon. At first he comes across as the jaded, bored, ultra rich playboy. This is another one of these horrible books that has a idiot, insecure, poor, and I could go on, woman, with lengthily repetition of the same teary, feeling-soaked lines over and over.
The author gave us no reason as to why he was the way he was with Emily, why the sudden change of being the sweet boyfriend Emily thought he was when they were in a long distance relationship, or why he was so determinate to date her and marry her.
Gavin and Emily both feel an instant attraction, a spark right away. On the first day of her new job, the delivery boy quit, so she was asked by her boss if she could make a quick delivery to a building nearby. Emily is similarly affected and shocked when Gavin pursues her but she manages to push him away, her loyalty lying with Dillon. On one hand, I understand her reaction with Gavin was supposed to be more dramatic because she feels deeper for him. Also, I didn’t like that it never once entered her head to just be alone.
She had the help of great friends and a very loving sister Love triangle Love at first sight Controlling partner Cheating Writing: Honestly, I hope in book 2 she gets turned away by Gavin because her dumb ass deserves to be alone. Want to Read saving….
It didn’t take me a long time to finish this, and I didn’t feel like I was slowly dragging my feet while reading it, but aside from that, there were just so many things wrong with it, oh my god. And of course a dash of tears. Goodreads helps you keep track of books you want to read. I will not continue onto the sequel since I just don’t care enough. Okay, what the hell? Who calls their brother-in-law ‘brother-in-law’ to their face? I even got turned on a couple times, so that’s always a plus.
His face can fucking burn and melt off, for all I care! Ugh, I hate writing reviews like this, but I will definitely not be following this series. As a whole, I enjoyed it.
Knowing he can’t live without her by his side, he’s sweet, thoughtful, and everything Emily has ever wanted in a man.
Collide (Collide, #1)
Slowly a love triangle is formed but there were circumstances regarding the events that went on. Perhaps these two are long lost siblings! For example, her reaction to Gina.
Oh and me thinking, Gavin – go find someone else! As for Gavin, his behavior was stalker-ish. And it was so upsetting to read it because it blind-sided me. RomanceMchjgh Adult.

As luck would have it, Emily does in fact get to know Gavin and be in his life. Then she decides guy number one treats her badly and she actually wants guy number two.
Emily, Dillon and Gavin’s story was an interesting one. The bulk of this book my feelings were a bit like this- Seriously. To his credit, he did eventually come clean, but, by that point, I was over his cowardice. I just need to get a few things out of the way before I can tell you how awesome this book is. I loved the way your lips felt against mine, a Emily, baby girl you’re so stupid!!!
Question I’m asking myself: Add to Your books. Okay, what the hell?
In Collide Emily moves to New York to be nearer her boyfriend, Dillon, and best mcjugh, Olivia, after the death of her mother. Will Dillon even allow her to make the choice or he’ll force her in to choosing him?
That intensity was felt not only in the love scenes, but also in the relationship between Emily and Gavin, all their dialogues, their glimpses, their attraction were so beautifully described and made you connect with them. Is this a cliff co,lide book? Life and love isn’t mchuh simple. He’s never believed in love at first sight but one look at Emily makes him question everything he’s ever thought.
Other times, I wanted to punch Dillon in the face.
