I’m sad to have finished the series, I just love the family and want to read more about their lives and what happens next! Kate and Dave are pretty much the only ones who seem to have longer story arch than the others, whereas I feel like the others could offer even more.

A climax is alluded to in a previous book when Lisa mentions a landmark she wants him to visit, and it is forgotten in this book. Meghan follows the convictions of the other Christian characters who find themselves loving an unbeliever.

The Christian life isn’t really lived in the church building, but outside of it in being light into the world. But asides from that it was great!!! This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. I still hold to my beliefs of what the scriptures mean, but for clean reading these novels were ok.
Benderson and Meghan are perfect together and I found myself cheering and rooting for them! In none of the books is the Christianity pushy or forced. This is hendegson first book which really drove home the message that each one is also about an aspect of Jesus guardian, negotiator, protector, truthseeker, healerthat there’s too much in life we can’t control, can’t fix, and have to leave in His hands. I really liked this one!!!
When he returns, he buys a small farm in a small town outside of Chicago, and is ready to start his new life. Someone is walking through her house, going through her things, so she turns to the one man she trusts to help her. I’m sorry the series has come to an end. He’s run into a mystery. The Rescuer is a sweet ending to the O’Malley family story.

Stephen and Meghan’s story was incredible and I was really privileged to walk with them throughout their journey. The logistics should have included the jet that so quickly is used in pre There was a wrench thrown in this book that was too much. I’m not ready to say goodby to the O’Malley’s. The Rescuer combines romance and adventure in the tale of the search for the ultimate love relationship, rescufr Jesus Christ both now and forever!!

A couple of times, family just drops by for the day, an emergency cause a patient to have to be transported and low and behold it puts Stephen in a position to just drop by Chicago to see his sister.
I’m lucky that I took a chance on the hideous cover of the first audiobook in this series, since it’s been quite the pleasure to read these stories.
